Wendy Pressley-Jacobs

Wendy formed Pressley Jacobs Design in 1985. She has 35 years of experience in the design consulting industry, Wendy’s previous affiliations were with Goldsholl Design & Film as Vice President/Design; Burson-Marsteller as Vice President, Creative Group Director, Design Group; and Design Planning Group as a Designer and then the Principal Design Manager. She was educated in graphic design and liberal arts at Indiana University, graduating with a BFA degree in graphic design.

Wendy is a member of the AIGA — where she sits on the Chicago Chapter Advisory Board. In 1983 Wendy was elected to the membership of “27 Chicago Designers.” In 1991, Women in Design/Chicago selected Wendy as “Woman of the Year.” In 1993 Wendy was selected “Alumni of the Year” by the School of Fine Arts at Indiana University. And in 1996 Photo District News named Pressley Jacobs Design one of eight “Hot Design Firms” in the Chicago market. She has received individual design recognition from numerous design organizations, and has been tapped to judge design shows across the country, including the 2010 Communication Arts design competition.
